The Guardian spoke to Region 4 & 6 TCTAC Deep South Center for Environmental Justice for an article about residents in Louisiana's "Cancer Alley" investing in "blue" ammonia, "clean" hydrogen, and carbon capture and storage (CCS) facilities in their communities. "CCS is not going to mitigate the climate crisis; it will lead to further expansion of fossil fuels and more hazardous waste causing further harm to frontline communities and the planet,” said Monique Harden, director of law and public policy at DSCEJ. Yahoo! News shared The Guardian report.
